Bowman Consulting is seeking a Project Accountant for a remote role, ideally within the Eastern Time Zone. The candidate will oversee project cost accounting, liaise with multiple accounting functions, and support project financial reporting.

This position requires 7+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint. Bowman offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent relevant experience required.
• CMA or CPA certification preferred but not required.
• 7+ years of corporate accounting experience preferred.
• Prior project accounting experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint preferred; ERP system experience required.
• Must have AP full cycle exposure.
• Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and report on project cost accounting per company policies.
• Act as liaison between operations and accounting functions (AP, payroll, etc.).
• Review and analyze KPIs to support operations and identify improvements.
• Identify, research, and resolve project issues.
• Reconcile and analyze project cost reports for timely reporting.
• Coordinate with Regional Controller for various account reports and collections.
• Coordinate with project billers/managers to ensure accurate project setups.
