Job summary

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in Tyler, TX is seeking a Program Manager to facilitate and sustain underage drinking prevention and drunk driving prevention initiatives. You will coordinate volunteers, manage locations, and ensure materials and staff are ready to run programs that meet revenue and grant objectives.

The role requires travel, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup serving the Tyler area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Human Services or equivalent experience.
• One to two years’ experience in community awareness, education, partnership and youth programs.
• Travel and flexible hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design events targeted to accomplish objectives and provide marketing/outreach.
• Manage implementation and logistics of prevention programs at State/Local level.
• Organize and host orientation, evaluation meetings, facilitator training, and workshops for parents/students.
• Source and recruit volunteers as needed for applicable programs.
• Provide training, guidance, support and motivation to volunteers and staff.
