Job summary

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is seeking a hybrid role in the Phoenix, AZ area to lead underage drinking prevention and drunk driving prevention programs at the State and Local level. You will organize events, manage volunteers, and ensure resources and materials are available to run sessions effectively.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree related to human services or equivalent experience and 1–2 years of program implementation experience, with travel and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Human Services or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience in community awareness, education, partnership and youth programs related to community health; grant administration helpful.
• Travel and flexible hours are required.
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design events to accomplish objectives; market and outreach to community agencies.
• Ensure grant proposals include program directives.
• Manage implementation and logistics of prevention programs at State and Local level.
• Organize orientation meetings, facilitator training, and parent/student workshops.
• Source and recruit volunteers; provide training and support to volunteers and staff.
