Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Program Manager to support volunteer engagement across SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments. This fully remote role requires coordinating with program managers, stakeholders, and Volunteer Services teams to meet mission objectives.

Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, onboarding, workforce data analysis, and creating leadership updates. Travel is minimal with 2-3 in-person meetings per year.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Skills: Proven ability to create presentations and develop training modules; strong written and verbal communication.
• MS Office proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of SAF/ISD and Corporate Departments.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with program managers, department stakeholders, and volunteers.
• Consult with departments to identify workforce needs and determine volunteer engagement strategies.
• Support recruitment plans, opportunities, and volunteer workforce processes.
• Coordinate communications, meetings, briefings, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage Volunteer Connection activities including reporting and recruitment workflows.
• Provide guidance on volunteer workforce policies and best practices.
• Pull and interpret volunteer workforce data to support decision-making.
