Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a senior finance professional for the Internal Wideband group to support program financials in a remote U.S.-based role.

You will influence forecasting, EVM, and EACs, while mentoring analysts and coordinating with program managers, contracts, and engineering teams. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and strategic project involvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups) and Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
• Professional experience in Program Controls with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts with the primary responsibility of working closely with the program teams to influence all financial aspects of the programs including: financial forecasting and reporting, Earned Value Management and compliance, Estimates at Completion (EACs).
• Develop talent within the team. This will include: training early-career analysts in tools, processes, and general business acumen and mentoring advanced analysts in career next-steps and opportunities within their current role to expand their knowledge and skillsets for the future.
• Communicate with multiple levels of management.
• Additionally, the role will need to effectively interact with multiple layers within the organization and make recommendations for appropriate solutions.
• An integrated part of a fast-paced finance team where strategic thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements.
• Provide support for ad hoc data reporting as well as participating in senior level projects and product-line initiatives.
