Responsibilities
- Writes new profitable business with agents and supports coverage.
- Markets and underwrites small business and large accounts per criteria.
- Makes underwriting decisions following pricing philosophies.
- Monitors agency results and pursues new business opportunities.
- Builds professional relationships with agents, underwriting, claims and corporate teams.
- Maintains two-way communication with agents and promotes system usage.
- Keeps up with industry developments and changes in carrier philosophies.
- May travel regionally to meet agency partners.
