Job summary

Selective Insurance seeks an experienced professional to develop an agency force, pre-qualify accounts, and support profitable growth through underwriting decisions, pricing philosophies, and compliance with company policies.

You will drive relationships with agents, CMS, Loss Control, and corporate departments, and promote Selective’s systems to write new business while delivering service excellence. Travel 40-50% of time is required.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, proactive, flexible and able to work independently, from a remote location.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal software.

Responsibilities

• Develop an agency force that pre-qualifies accounts, uses CLAS, processes small business, and supports profitable growth.
• Make consistent underwriting decisions and promote ease of doing business with Selective.
• Monitor agency results and follow up on growth, profitability, and compliance with initiatives.
