Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive modernization and governance of enterprise data. You will partner with stakeholders, architects, and engineering to maximize value and platform adoption.

The role is 100% remote from home with an east coast schedule, requiring strong communication, SAFe experience, and data warehousing or analytics background to deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions for the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Agile, Jira, and Confluence; SAFe experience required; SAFe cert preferred.
• Experience in SAFe including PI Planning, backlog prioritization, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for DataHub, translating product strategy into prioritized objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog refinement and SAFe events to align priorities and business value.
• Collaborate with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality and privacy requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
• Use stakeholder feedback and operational metrics to drive continuous product improvement and communicate strategy to stakeholders.
• Balance near-term value with long-term DataHub scalability and enterprise data strategy.
