Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Owner for the DataHub team to drive data platform modernization across enterprise areas. You will partner with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to maximize business value and platform adoption in a 100% remote role with an East Coast schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years in product management/ownership, strong communication, and experience with SAFe, Jira, and data platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of Product Owner/PM experience leading discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile environments.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence; SAFe experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Product Owner for DataHub, translating product strategy into prioritized objectives with stakeholders.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Lead backlog refinement, iteration planning, SAFe events, and alignment with teams on priorities and value.
Collaborate with governance, architecture, security, and engineering to incorporate data quality and privacy requirements.
Define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness with the delivery team.
Use stakeholder feedback and metrics to drive continuous product improvement and communicate strategy and risks.
Balance near-term value with long-term scalability of DataHub and enterprise data strategy.
