Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to unify Kin’s multiple home and auto quoting products into a seamless, multi-channel platform. You’ll guide the migration from legacy systems, partner with engineering and design, and shape quoting experiences for agents and customers alike across channels.

This role is an individual contributor position in a remote-first company with hybrid offices, offering robust benefits and growth opportunities in InsurTech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of a funnel, platform, API, or internal tooling product
• Experience with platform modernization or re-platforming at scale, including migrations
• Ability to operate in ambiguity across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Technical fluency to contribute to architecture and data model discussions
• Experience building quoting, checkout, or sales workflows across agent-assisted and self-serve channels
• Hands-on SQL and BI skills (Databricks, Looker) to size problems
• An AI-forward approach to raise throughput and prototype ideas quickly
• Clear, concise communication with both technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for migrating current quoting foundation and customization of multi-channel quoting
• Partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to take capabilities from prototype to production
• Orchestrate dependencies and timelines across multiple teams, surfacing risks early
• Drive improvements to quoting experience to reduce time to quote and friction to bind
• Lead experiments in customized and cross-channel quoting with clear hypotheses and metrics
• Write specs precise enough for engineering with minimal back-and-forth
• Build and scale AI-native workflows for the quoting experience
• Collaborate with PMs, Sales, and Ops on cross-team dependencies
