Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to own the transition of the quoting experience to a unified, multi-product platform. You will partner with engineering, design, and sales to retire legacy systems and deliver a streamlined, AI-enabled workflow across channels for agents and customers.

You will own the roadmap, manage dependencies across teams, and measure impact on lead-to-quote and quote-to-bind conversions in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management with ownership of a funnel, platform, API, or internal tooling product.
• Experience with platform modernization or re-platforming at scale, including sequencing migrations.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Technical fluency to discuss architecture and data models and impact on reliability and scalability.
• Experience building quoting, checkout, or sales workflows across channels with third-party integrations.
• Hands-on SQL and BI skills (Databricks, Looker) to size problems and scope improvements.
• AI-forward approach using tools to raise throughput and prototype ideas quickly.
• Clear, concise communication across technical and business audiences.
• Bonus: experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks.
• Experience coding.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Segment, FullStory, Regal, or similar tools.
• Background in InsurTech or FinTech.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for migrating quoting foundations and customizing Kin’s multi-channel quoting capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to move quoting capabilities from prototype to production.
• Orchestrate dependencies and timelines across multiple teams, surfacing risks and trade-offs early.
• Drive incremental improvements to the quoting experience for agents and customers to reduce time to quote and friction to bind.
• Lead experiments in customized and cross-channel quoting experiences with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
• Write precise specs and requirements to enable engineering with minimal back-and-forth.
• Build and scale AI-native workflows for the quoting experience.
