Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to unify a growing set of home, auto, and financing products into a single seamless shopping experience. You will lead the transition of our quoting experience to Kin’s multi‑product platform, retiring legacy systems while ensuring teams and customers aren’t disrupted.

You’ll enable agents and customers to customize quotes quickly across channels in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management with ownership of a funnel, platform, API, or internal tooling product.
• Experience with platform modernization or re-platforming at scale, including sequencing migrations.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Technical fluency to contribute to architecture and data model discussions.
• Experience building quoting, checkout, or sales workflows across channels.
• Hands-on SQL and BI skills to size problems and scope improvements.
• AI-forward approach to raise throughput and prototype ideas quickly.
• Clear, concise communication for technical and business audiences.
• Bonus if you have experience with AB testing or experimentation frameworks.
• Experience coding.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Segment, FullStory, Regal, or similar tools.
• Background in InsurTech or FinTech.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for migrating the current quoting foundation and multi-channel quoting capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to move quoting capabilities from prototype to production.
• Orchestrate dependencies and timelines across multiple teams, surfacing risks early.
• Drive improvements to reduce quoting time and friction to bind for agents and customers.
• Lead experiments in customized cross-channel quoting experiences with clear hypotheses and success metrics.
• Write precise specs so engineering can build with minimal back‑and‑forth.
• Build and scale AI‑native workflows for quoting experiences.
