Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Product Manager to turn a growing set of products into a seamless shopping experience. You will lead the transition of quoting to Kin's multi-product platform, retire legacy systems, and enable agents and customers to customize quotes across channels.

This is an individual contributor role partnering with PMs, engineering, Sales, and Operations. You will own the roadmap, drive experiments, and write precise specs to enable a scalable, AI-enhanced quoting experience for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of a funnel, platform, API, or internal tooling.
• Experience modernizing or re-platforming at scale, sequencing migrations without disruption.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Technical fluency to discuss architecture, data models, reliability, and regulatory impact.
• Experience building quoting, checkout, or sales workflows spanning agent-assisted and self-serve channels.
• Hands-on SQL and BI skills (Databricks, Looker) to size problems and scope improvements.
• AI-forward approach to using tools to raise throughput and prototype ideas quickly.
• Clear, concise communication with technical and business audiences.
• Bonus: experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for migrating the current quoting foundation and multi-channel quoting capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, design, and stakeholders to take quoting capabilities from prototype through production rollout.
• Orchestrate dependencies and timelines across multiple teams, surfacing risks early.
• Drive incremental improvements to the quoting experience that reduce time to quote and friction to bind.
• Lead experiments in customized and cross-channel quoting experiences with measurable results.
• Write precise specs and requirements to keep engineering aligned with minimal back-and-forth.
• Build and scale AI-native workflows for the quoting experience.
