Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to own the procurement process and support the Accounts Payable team, strengthening purchasing controls and data accuracy in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

This contract position is based out of Darien, CT, offering a fully remote schedule across time zones with potential for contract-to-hire.

Pay ranges from $30.00 to $42.00 per hour, with benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing coordination, or accounting support.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Detail-oriented approach to work.
• Experience in reconciling and validating transactions.

Responsibilities

• Submit and track purchase orders to ensure timely processing.
• Conduct data entry and cross-checking activities for accuracy.
• Match invoices against purchase orders to maintain financial integrity.
• Maintain procurement documentation in SharePoint for easy access and organization.
• Help improve controls around purchasing to streamline processes.
