Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Procurement Specialist for an onsite role in Boca Raton, FL. You will manage inventory, source products and freight services, and negotiate vendor pricing to drive cost efficiency across the supply chain.

The position focuses on accurate data, strong vendor relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration to support daily operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables) and data analysis.
• Hands-on procurement experience, including order placement and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Experience in product and freight sourcing for inventory and logistics.
• Inventory management across multiple systems and platforms; ecommerce familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and produce accurate inventory reporting using Excel and internal systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory availability across websites and internal platforms.
• Update product information within inventory and procurement systems to ensure data integrity.
• Source products and freight services to support operational needs.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to secure competitive costs.
• Coordinate with fulfillment centers and shipping providers to reduce freight and handling costs.
• Prepare quotes and pricing estimates to support sales and operations.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on purchasing, logistics and inventory initiatives.
• Assist with additional operational tasks to support the broader supply chain.
