Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support a fully remote aerospace-focused supply chain from anywhere in the United States. You will collaborate with procurement, operations and supply chain managers to ensure critical parts are available, tracked in SAP, and aligned with MRP needs.

The role emphasizes proactive issue resolution, data accuracy, and clear communication across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with procurement and supply chain to resolve part issues.
• Proficiency with data entry and tracking in ERP tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication with operations, procurement and suppliers.
• Ability to escalate and resolve part-related issues across teams.

Responsibilities

• Interface with supply chain managers, operations, and leaders to prioritize critical parts.
• Collaborate with procurement to understand commitments and update SAP tracking.
• Improve supplier schedules to align with MRP needs and report status.
• Maintain accurate data in SAP and internal tracking tools.
• Communicate daily the status of critical parts and risks to stakeholders.
• Drive actions to clear obstacles in approval processes (QA, FAI, engineering changes).
• Attend weekly meetings to provide detailed part status and support initiatives.
