Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Practice Operations Specialist to collect, review, and analyze data for assigned projects. You will conduct time studies, develop workflows, and act as a subject matter expert on practice operations while coordinating with providers and managers.

This role requires an Associate's Degree and 2 years of experience in practice operations or 4 years of related clerical or clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• 2 years of practice operations experience or 4 years of related clerical or clinical practice experience.
• Epic Workqueue experience or Epic backend experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reviews, and analyzes data for assigned projects.
• Conducts time studies for process improvement activities and compares performance before and after changes.
• Develops and documents workflows, job aids, and publishes documents in an organized format.
• Trains teammates on operational systems and new functionality as necessary.
• Interacts with providers, team members, and practice managers to meet organizational goals.
• Manages several projects simultaneously.
