Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead the design of scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise platforms for the DME Diabetes business.

You will partner with stakeholders, product and engineering teams to outline roadmaps and drive deployments across cloud-native and hybrid environments. The role requires deep technical leadership, hands-on experience with integrations, APIs, and data security, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience in architecture roles (Solutions/Enterprise).
• Experience architecting enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Healthcare/DME experience or familiarity with healthcare domains preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architectures with API-led connectivity.
• Strong focus on data security, master data management and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms and enterprise integration tech.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-first integration strategies using modern patterns and microservices.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, and engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
• Define resiliency, performance, monitoring, and DR requirements across the landscape.
• Partner with cybersecurity to ensure compliance with security standards.
