Cardinal Health is seeking a Principal Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms, partnering with business and enterprise architecture to outline roadmaps and keep the platform current.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions with cloud-native and hybrid architectures, API-led connectivity, and event-driven patterns, leveraging Salesforce and enterprise integration

Qualifications

12+ years IT experience in architecture roles (Solutions/Enterprise) within healthcare technology.
Proven experience architecting large-scale, enterprise platforms and complex system integrations.
Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures, API-led connectivity, and data security/compliance.

Responsibilities

Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
Design API-first integration strategies using modern patterns and microservices where appropriate.
Develop end-to-end solution architectures supporting customer acquisition, patient onboarding, order fulfillment, and billing.
Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
Define resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements for the landscape.
Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and healthcare regulations.
