Cardinal Health is seeking a Principal Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead enterprise-scale integrations across DME, pharmacy, CRM, ERP, and analytics. You will design API-first strategies, drive scalable architectures, and ensure secure, compliant platforms aligned with enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, product and engineering teams, and cybersecurity to maintain a modern, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with background in Solutions/Enterprise Architecture or related leadership roles.
• Experience architecting large-scale enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Experience in DME/healthcare/pharmacy/medical device domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-led integration strategies using modern patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices where appropriate.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures supporting customer acquisition, onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, service, and engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
• Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements across the platform landscape.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and healthcare regulations.
