Job summary

Rocket Software Inc. is seeking a Principal Customer Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership in mainframe modernization and delivery architecture, guiding customers through digital transformation.

You will work on complex projects, lead design and deployment of Rocket products, and create proofs of concept to illustrate value. The role requires strong communication, collaboration with customers and teams, and the ability to estimate resources, manage scope, and mentor others.

Qualifications

5-7 years of relevant technical experience.
Excellent communication / customer service skills / confident telephone manner
Proactive and able to work under pressure
Experience in complex IT project implementations, customizations and or maintenance
Must have an analytical mind set to analyse test result and facilitate defect resolution
Organized and methodical, dealing with numerous tasks.
Fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Lead design and deployment of Rocket products for customers.
Provide services to customers and work on complex project scope with minimal direction.
Act as Delivery Architect and manage technical aspects of projects.
Create proofs of concept / proof of value analyses and pilots.
Conduct external and internal technical presentations/trainings.
Lead a team, communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Estimate new requirements and coordinate with PM for resources.
Review code and ensure alignment with architecture.
