Job summary

TrendAI, the AI security arm of Trend Micro, seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to own the technical narrative across AI Infrastructure, AI Application, and AI Public-Facing Security. You will lead PoC engagements, architect solutions, and present to CISOs and security leaders while collaborating with product management to shape the AI security roadmap.

You will also mentor SEs, build reference architectures, and represent TrendAI at events, influencing industry positioning and customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security architecture, solutions engineering, or related pre-sales/technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML system architecture and cloud AI services.
• Hands-on understanding of LLM security risks (prompt injections, jailbreaks, data poisoning).
• Experience securing public-facing applications and APIs (API security, WAF).
• Familiarity with CSPM/CNAPP tooling.
• Excellent executive presentation and storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical SME for AI Security across the US SE organization.
• Architect and present solutions across three AI security domains.
• Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and PoC engagements for top AI security opportunities.
• Build and maintain reference architectures, demo environments, and reusable enablement content.
• Deliver executive and technical-depth presentations to CISOs and security leaders.
• Partner with Product Management to channel field and customer feedback into the AI security roadmap.
• Track the competitive AI security landscape and maintain up-to-date positioning and battlecards.
• Mentor and upskill SEs on AI security concepts and demo delivery.
• Represent TrendAI externally at industry events and webinars.
