Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Presales Systems Engineer for SLED in a remote/teleworker role. You will partner with account managers, lead discovery, and drive technical wins across the territory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles with strong networking knowledge (campus, wireless, routing, WAN) and familiar with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust. Certifications in Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, or Fortinet are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in campus networking, wireless, routing, and WAN.
• Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust preferred.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to develop account strategy, qualify opportunities, and drive technical wins across assigned territory.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer business drivers, technical requirements, and modernization goals.
• Conduct technical assessments to evaluate current environments, identify gaps and risks, and define solution approaches.
• Design and architect end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD‑WAN, and security domains.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and specialists on complex opportunities.
