Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Networking Pre-Sales Systems Engineer who will work primarily from home in a Remote/Teleworker role. You will support customers with technical sales and tailor solutions to meet business needs.

The role requires 4+ years in networking pre-sales, strong expertise in routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and network management, plus relevant certifications. You will collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify deals and drive successful engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent networking experience.
• 4+ years of technical professional, pre-sales, or related experience.
• Extensive networking experience: routing, switching, Wi-Fi, security, SASE, and network management.
• Relevant networking certifications (HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and document technology solutions and proposals for customer requirements.
• Support Proof of Concept engagements to prove the solution meets business needs.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and drive deals.
• Position HPE products against competitors with clear value propositions.
• Partner with internal/external experts to tailor solutions for clients.
• Assist in proposal development and deal closure in competitive environments.
• Build relationships with HPE partners to increase channel sales.
