Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join HPE Networking in the Northern California region. This role is designated as Remote/Teleworker, with primary work from home and occasional on-site engagements in the Santa Clara Valley.

You will provide pre-sales technical support for complex networking solutions, collaborate with Territory Managers, and help customers translate requirements into scalable, business-valued network designs.

Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering or related field or substantial networking pre-sales experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years as a technical professional in pre-sales/post-sales roles.
• Extensive experience in Networking including routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, security, SASE and Network Management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with pre-sales technical and functional guidance for complex solutions.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and drive engagements.
• Present HPE networking capabilities and translate tech into business value for clients.
