Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales System Engineer to support Networking Account Managers, Partners, and customers in the sales cycle. You will help SMBs modernize, secure, and simplify their network infrastructure with HPE Networking solutions.

This role combines networking knowledge with consultative selling and customer-facing expertise to design and position solutions across wired/wireless networks, security, and cloud-managed environments. Remote/telework is supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong foundation in networking technologies (campus, wireless, routing, WAN).
• Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to develop account strategy and drive technical wins.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover business drivers and requirements.
• Conduct technical assessments of current environments and gaps.
• Design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to technical and executive audiences.
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and specialists on complex opportunities.
