Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a remote Presales Solutions Engineer – OT/IoT Security to serve as a customer-facing security expert in the Southeast region.

The role emphasizes consultative security, education of sales teams, and development of new security services offerings. You will collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, and engineers, stay current on trends, and create lab use cases and collateral to win cybersecurity engagements.

Qualifications

• Deep OT/IoT security knowledge (protocol awareness, traffic analysis, asset visibility, segmentation strategies).
• Familiarity with OT/IoT industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and SCADA.
• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to run demos on cloud security products.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Initiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitude.
• Exceptional relationship-building acumen.
• Strong documentation skills to include system/network diagrams and presentations.
• General understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.
• Possess a real passion for technology.
• Expert technical knowledge of security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers, and procurement to strengthen customer relationships and understand goals.
• Understand SHI services offerings across solution practice areas through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies through 1x1, team, and company trainings.
• Stay current on market trends and industry landscape to support engagements.
• Engage in lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
• Develop collateral to assist cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Develop use cases in SHI lab to support sales opportunities.
