Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead technical architecture for customer proposals nationwide, focused on the PremierOne CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolios. You will own interface designs, engineering diagrams, and solution documentation for end-to-end, compliant deployments.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to design customer-driven solutions, manage risks, and support bid activities while traveling under 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in one of the listed domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and security.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales life-cycle from qualification through contract and transition to implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand product portfolios and upcoming enhancements.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions incorporating product portfolio and 3rd party elements; own the designs.
• Identify and document technical risks, capture costs, and create solution documentation.
• Develop consistent RFPs, proposals, and drawings; ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate with a wide range of audiences with strong presentation skills.
