Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to design end-to-end, customer-driven solutions across our public safety portfolio. You will own the technical architecture, interface designs, and solution documentation for nationwide proposals, collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Product teams.

Qualified candidates bring 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, strong cloud and IP networking knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Experience with cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS in regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, protocols and security.
• Technical understanding of solution infrastructure and interfaces for CAD/RMS/911, Digital Evidence, analytics.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales life-cycle from qualification through contract.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand the PremierOne CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolio and upcoming features.
• Work with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions using product portfolio and 3rd party elements; own tech designs.
• Identify, mitigate and document technical solution risks and costs; create solution docs.
