Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead the technical integration for nationwide proposals, focusing on CAD/RMS, Call Processing, and Analytics within the public safety portfolio.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to design end-to-end solutions, manage interfaces, and define engineering labor models. Remote work is supported in this National role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in sales, engineering, solutions architecture or systems integration.
• 4+ years of experience in one of the following: sales, engineering, solutions architecture or systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including migrations from on-prem to SaaS.
• Strong general knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security.
• Technical understanding of the solution infrastructure and interfaces for CAD/RMS/911/Analytics.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales lifecycle from qualification through contract.
• Attend customer meetings, proposal development, negotiations and transition to implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS and CommandCentral product portfolio and enhancements.
• Craft end-to-end solutions using product portfolio and 3rd party elements.
• Identify and document technical solution risks, costs and deployment requirements.
• Develop consistent RFPs, proposals and drawings documentation.
• Present to diverse audiences with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
