Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead technical architecture for nationwide proposals. You will own end-to-end solutions across CAD/RMS, Call Processing, and analytics, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver compelling customer proposals.

The role requires 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, strong cloud and IP networking knowledge, and excellent stakeholder engagement. Remote-friendly; travel under 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications and architecture, including SaaS migrations.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, protocols and security.
• Understanding of solution infrastructure and public safety product interfaces.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead that supports the sales life-cycle from qualification through contract and transition to implementation.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand product portfolio and upcoming features.
• Work with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions and own the technical and interface designs.
• Identify, mitigate, and document technical risks and costs; create solution documentation.
• Develop a consistent approach to RFPs, proposals, and quoting with clear documentation.
• Interact with customers and internal teams using strong presentation and collaboration skills.
