Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect to lead the technical design of customer proposals nationwide. You will own architecture, interface design, and engineering diagrams, collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role requires 4+ years in relevant disciplines, strong cloud and networking knowledge, and excellent communication. This remote, national-position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in Sales, Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Systems Integration.
• 4+ years in one of the listed roles (sales, engineering, solutions architecture, or systems integration).
• Strong knowledge of cloud applications/architecture and SaaS migrations in regulated environments.
• Strong IP networking knowledge and security concepts.
• Technical understanding of CAD/RMS, 911 Handling, Records Management and analytics interfaces.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead supporting the sales lifecycle from qualification through contract.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand CAD/RMS and CommandCentral portfolio and upcoming features.
• Work with customers and sales teams to understand customer needs.
• Craft end-to-end solutions comprising product portfolio and third-party elements.
• Identify, mitigate, and document technical risks and costs; create solution docs.
• Develop a consistent approach to RFPs, proposals, and quoting.
• Maintain a customer-facing role with strong presentation, leadership, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

4+ years in Sales/Engineering/Solutions Architecture/Systems Integration

Cloud architectures and SaaS migrations (regulated industries)

IP networking, security knowledge

Public safety solution interfaces (CAD/RMS, analytics)

Stakeholder relationship building
