Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer for Data Security. This remote role requires collaboration with CIOs/CSOs and security engineers to advance cloud security projects and shape new security services offerings. Occasional Austin, TX office reporting may be required for business needs.

The role emphasizes consultative security acumen, ongoing lab work, and development of sales collateral to support engagements across SHI’s security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP or GIAC are preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client/partner engagements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs and security engineers to strengthen customer relationships.
• Understand SHI’s cybersecurity offerings and communicate value to customers.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions and sales processes.
• Stay current on market trends and new technologies in security.
• Develop collateral and use cases to support security engagements.
• Assist in SOW scope for professional services aligned to recommended solutions.
