Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to act as a customer-facing cloud security expert. You will take a consultative approach to security projects, understand how security technology enables business, and help develop new security services offerings.

This remote role may report to the Austin, TX office as needed. You will engage with CIOs, CSOs, and security teams to align SHI solutions with client goals, stay current with market trends, and contribute

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers and procurement to strengthen client relationships.
• Learn SHI services offerings across solution practice areas via training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies through training sessions.
• Stay current on technology trends and market landscape to inform engagements.
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI lab to support sales engagements.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services aligned to products.
