Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an experienced Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security. This remote role partners with customers to deliver cloud security expertise, develop new security services, and support sales engagements.

Occasional reporting to the Austin, Texas office may be required for business needs. You will collaborate with CIOs and security teams, stay current on market trends, and create collateral and use cases in SHI labs to address customer opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in technical cybersecurity roles; 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications in CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP or related cybersecurity OEMs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO/CSO/CISO, security engineers, and procurement to strengthen customer relationships and capture goals.
• Understand SHI's cybersecurity offerings across solution practices through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions and technologies through 1x1, team, and company training.
• Stay current on market trends and industry landscape to support customer opportunities.
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI lab to support sales engagements.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services aligning to recommended solutions.
