Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to serve as a cloud security expert in a customer-facing role. This remote position may require reporting to the Austin, TX office for business needs.

You will develop and deliver new security services offerings, educate sales teams, and collaborate with CIOs/CSOs/CISOs and engineers to align security with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security or equivalent.
• Travel to client locations up to 20% for meetings and engagements.
• Extended hours may be required for special projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, Security Engineers, and procurement to strengthen relationships.
• Understand SHI's cybersecurity offerings and expand knowledge via training.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling.
• Stay current on technology trends and market landscape.
• Engage in lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
• Develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Create use cases in the SHI lab for sales support.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services.
