Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support enterprise customers in Texas from a remote/teleworker setting. You will partner with Territory Managers and channel partners to design networking solutions, run discovery sessions, and deliver POCs that illustrate value for HPE Networking.
The role requires deep experience with routing, switching, wireless, and security, plus strong presentation and relationship skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in pre-sales engineering or related networking roles.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales teams.
- Experience designing enterprise networking solutions.
- Strong background in routing, switching, wireless, and security.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Territory Managers to identify and advance opportunities.
- Design networking solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, presentations, and workshops.
- Develop solution architectures, recommendations, and customer proposals.
- Deliver POCs, demonstrations, and solution validations.
- Position solutions against competitors and communicate differentiators.
- Support RFP responses and complex engagements.
- Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to drive revenue.
