Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Presales Systems Consultant to support Networking Account Managers, partners, and customers in designing modern, secure, and simplified network architectures. The role spans wired/wireless, routing, SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud-managed networking, with a high-velocity sales environment and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications preferred: Aruba ACA/ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP, CWNA.
• Strong networking knowledge across campus, wireless, routing, WAN.
• Experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account managers to develop account strategy and drive technical wins.
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer drivers and modernization goals.
• Conduct technical assessments to identify gaps and define solution approaches.
• Design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN and security.
• Recommend solutions aligned to business outcomes and modernization initiatives.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and specialists on complex opportunities.
• Maintain expertise across HPE Networking portfolios (Aruba/Juniper).
• Stay current on AI-ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, and campus fabric evolution.
• Analyze competitive technologies and articulate differentiation.
• Expand technical and industry expertise through certifications.
