Job summary

SHI International Corp is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Network to work with Architects, account teams, customers, and GTM initiatives. This remote role in the Louisville, KY area with a Home Office setup supports network platforms, business-aligned technology discussions, and opportunity identification.

You will collaborate across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services to design tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of network solutions including route/switch, LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, cloud edge, and secure access.
• Ability to articulate value and sell complex technical products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer environments and network maturity.
• Strengthen OEM and partner relationships and stay updated on product information.
• Educate sales teams on network solutions through 1x1 and team trainings, and conduct product training.
• Design and propose tailored network solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for comprehensive account management.
• Develop strategies to grow the solution practice and acquire new business.
• Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as needed.
