Job summary

SHI is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Network to work with account teams and customers as a network expert. You will lead discussions on Network platforms, tie technology to business goals, and identify opportunities for SHI.

This remote role is centered in the Columbus, OH area with a home office setup as determined by SHI management. You will train sales teams on network solutions, collaborate on data center and cloud project requirements, and help craft tailored infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, ACSP preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products (switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, Meraki) and CCW familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer environments and network technologies.
• Educate and train sales teams on network solutions and key technologies.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs and partners; stay updated on product information.
• Act as a trusted IT advisor and manage the solution pipeline for top prospects.
