Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer - Network to join our team and work remotely in the St. Louis, MO territory with a home office setup.

You will collaborate with Architects, account teams, and customers to lead network discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions. The role requires a consultative approach, strong presentation skills, and expertise in route/switch, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products (Switches, Routers, Wireless, Nexus, Meraki) and CCW familiarity.
• Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen technical relationships with OEMs and partners.
• Educate and develop sales teams on network solution selling and technologies.
• Conduct product training and positioning for Sales and customers.
• Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Act as trusted IT advisor for customers with Field Account Execs.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline and top prospect strategies.
• Identify opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.
