Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to advise customers and internal sales teams on security designs across enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes translating complex security concepts into business outcomes and requires residency in the Southeast region of the US. Candidate should combine deep technical depth with consultative communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS.
• Strong email security technologies knowledge, including phishing protection, SEG, API-based email security, DLP, and advanced threat protection.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value.
• Expertise in email security solutions (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal) and data security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business goals, security challenges, and technology environments.
• Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security environments and develops high-level architectures, solution proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions and value propositions to both technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery teams.
