Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate security solutions for customers across enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes translating complex security concepts into business outcomes and requires strong technical depth combined with sales enablement. The position is remote and must reside in the Southeast region of the US as required for business needs and SHI management, with frequent collaboration

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Broad understanding of email and data security across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid.
• Strong knowledge of identities, networks, endpoints, data protection, and security operations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, HITRUST).
• Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, SI, or technology provider environment.
• Strong presentation skills for live or virtual demonstrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-up.
• Initiative to research, learn, and resolve problems with a positive, collaborative mindset.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and passion for technology.
• Strong documentation skills, including system and network diagrams and customer-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures for gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security environments and develops high-level architectures, proposals, and documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions, value propositions, and differentiation to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoCs to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to post-sales delivery after opportunity closure.
