Job summary

TopDog Law is a nationally scaling personal injury firm operating a fully remote team. The Case Manager Lead supervises the day-to-day pre-litigation case management team within the pod, ensuring cases are investigated, documented, and progressed toward demand preparation and settlement.

The role partners with the Pre-Litigation Attorney to provide legal direction, maintains organized files, and uses dashboards to monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience supporting Personal Injury pre-litigation matters
• Experience leading a team of case managers and directing workflow to settlements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while collaborating with a team

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3–5 Pre-Litigation Case Managers within the pod
• Coordinate workloads and provide guidance on procedures
• Ensure case managers adhere to workflows and documentation standards
• Own MRI rates and diagnostics tracking
• Drive case velocity and ensure settlements meet value targets
• Monitor medical record collection and documentation progress
• Lead onboarding and training for new case managers
• Manage approximately 50 active pre-litigation cases
• Escalate issues between case managers and attorneys as needed
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to identify underperformance
