Job summary

TopDog Law is seeking a Case Manager Lead to supervise the pre-litigation team, oversee case progression, and align operations with firm strategy. You will manage 3–5 Pre-Litigation Case Managers, balance workloads, and coach staff to ensure compliant, timely settlements.

This fully remote role requires 6–8 years in personal injury pre-litigation, strong leadership, and data-driven process improvement. Base salary ranges from $92,800 to $113,700 per year, with full benefits from TopDog Law.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience supporting Personal Injury pre-litigation matters in multiple states or Louisiana.
• Proven experience leading a team of case managers and directing case strategy and workflow.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing medical records and bills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3–5 Pre-Litigation Case Managers within the pod.
• Assign and balance workloads across the team.
• Provide guidance on case handling procedures and documentation standards.
• Coach and day-to-day support to help case managers execute effectively.
• Serve as primary operational liaison between the case manager team and Pre-Litigation Attorney.
• Handle escalations from clients and providers, resolving issues before they reach the attorney.
• Monitor progress of medical record collection and documentation gathering.
• Maintain strong case file organization and documentation discipline.
• Actively use dashboards and reporting tools to evaluate team KPIs and identify underperformance.
