Job summary

TopDog Law, a fully remote personal injury firm, seeks a Case Manager Lead to supervise the pre-litigation team, ensuring cases are investigated, documented, and progressed toward settlement. You will lead 3–5 junior case managers and coordinate with the Pre-Litigation Attorney.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of PI pre-litigation experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload across multiple states, including Arizona.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience supporting Personal Injury pre-litigation matters.
• Proven ability to lead a team of case managers and drive workflow.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3–5 Pre-Litigation Case Managers within the pod.
• Assign and balance workloads across the team.
• Provide coaching and day-to-day guidance to ensure effective execution.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between case managers and the Pre-Litigation Attorney.
• Handle escalations from clients and providers to protect timelines.
• Own MRI rates, advanced treatment rates, and ensure diagnostics are tracked.
• Monitor case velocity and ensure progression through pre-litigation phases.
• Ensure settlements meet value targets relative to policy limits.
• Lead onboarding and training for new case managers.
• Manage ~50 active pre-litigation cases with emphasis on higher-value matters.
