Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Practice Management Manager to drive operational excellence across the practice. You will partner with ESO and leadership to optimize processes, enable scalable growth, and manage strategic initiatives and reporting.

The role involves coordinating with Finance, Resource Management, Talent Management, and Legal to improve efficiency, oversight, and system utilization, while supporting staffing and onboarding for new teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of.
• 5 years of operations or practice management experience required.
• Experience within a professional services or consulting environment preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, project management, and change management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to travel; potentially up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Operational Enablement & Process Optimization: drive standardized processes, tools and operating models for consistency and scalability.
• Coordinate execution of operational initiatives and improvements aligned with firm objectives.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency and team effectiveness.
• Serve as point of coordination for escalations across engagement lifecycle (setup, contracting, resourcing, compliance, financials).
• Support adherence to policies, controls, and engagement documentation to mitigate risk.
• Assist in implementing new processes, technologies, and reporting through change enablement.
