Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lifecycle Project Manager- Power & Energy (Remote) to join our Power & Energy Program Management Team in the United States. This role focuses on managing transmission line, substation, and communications projects, with travel to client sites as required and the ability to work from a mutually acceptable location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/PM or related field; experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in Power Delivery/substation/utility.
• Experience managing medium to large transmission line/substation projects for electric utilities.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and client satisfaction.
• Advanced understanding of CPM scheduling, cost forecasting, earned value, change management, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple transmission line and substation projects.
• Provide senior-level oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, construction readiness, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary accountability for project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and WSP standards.
• Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, and executive-level reporting.
• Manage project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, earned value, and margins.
