Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lifecycle Project Manager- Power & Energy (Remote) for the Power & Energy Program Management Team. The role supports projects in transmission, substation, and communications with a focus on SCADA and telecomm, working remote from a mutually acceptable US location.

You will manage technical, schedule, quality, and financial aspects, lead governance and oversight, and mentor other project managers to deliver high-quality, on-time results for a regional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field; relevant experience considered.
• 10+ years of post-education experience with PM responsibility in Power Delivery or related infrastructure.
• Experience leading medium to large transmission line/substation projects for electric utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple concurrent transmission line and substation projects.
• Provide senior-level PM oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary accountability for project delivery, align with client expectations and WSP standards.
• Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, and executive reporting.
• Manage project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, EV, change control, and margins.
• Lead client engagement and relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, controls, procurement, construction, enviro, and stakeholders.
• Establish governance with risk registers, logs, change controls, QA/QC, and audit-ready docs.
• Guide resource planning, staffing, and QA/QC to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Mentor PMs and team members to reinforce accountability and consistency.
• Exercise ethical judgment on funds, commitments, and project conduct per policies.
