Job summary

WSP invites applications for a Power & Energy Lifecycle Project Manager (Remote) to join our Power & Energy Program Management Team. The successful candidate will manage transmission, distribution, substation, and telecom projects across a nationwide footprint, with a focus on SCADA and communications infrastructure.

The role requires leading scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and client relations, coordinating resources, vendors, and teams in a dynamic utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related major, or equivalent experience.
• Working towards PMP or CAP-M certification.
• 5+ years in project management in the industry.
• Understanding of A/E/C project delivery processes.
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate resources, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
• Ability to work schedules beyond typical workweeks and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) tasks and estimated costs.
• Update documentation for risk, PMP, QP, PSP, and communications plans.
• Assist with project kick-off meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor project metrics, cash flow, and budgeting for a portfolio of projects.
• Coordinate with managers on resources and subcontractor needs.
• Oversee subcontractors and supplier submissions and payments.
• Report project status to clients and management; conduct lessons‑learned.
